Asian Women in Business Workshop 'Starting Your Business 101' Begins in November

Asian Women In Business holds four-week series on small business ownership 'Starting Your Business 101' in New York.

Preparing to start a business or looking to hone your business skills? Then Asian Women In Business' 'Starting Your Business 101' four-week series on small business ownership is just for you. Conducted by industry experts Lily Hui, CPA, Samiya Mir, Attorney at Law, Joyce Moy, SBDC LaGuardia Community College and others. The workshops will take place at the Institute for Women & Work, Cornell University, 16 East 34th St., 8th Fl. in New York, on four consecutive Mondays November 5, 12, 19 and 26, 68pm.

'Writing a Business Plan', 'Marketing Basics', 'Legal Structures and Tax Issues', and 'Financing & Insurance' are among the topics to be covered in this informative series.

Registration is $15 per class or $30 for the four-class series for AWIB members and $25 per class or $75 for the series for non-members. Seating is limited. Registration with payment must be received by Nov. 2 for the Series Special Rate. Priority will be given to those signing up for the entire series. The series is funded by State Farm Insurance.
