Meet Angi Ma Wong at a book talk and signing for her delightful new children's book "Who Ate My Socks?" at the 2nd Anniversary celebration of the Chinese American Museum, 425 Los Angeles Street in Los Angeles at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005.

What happens to the millions of pairs of socks given and received as gifts during the holidays? Soon after the new year, many recipients will be asking the age-old question: to where have single socks disappeared? Written in humorous rhyme and colorfully illustrated by Angi, "Who Ate My Socks?" (Pacific Heritage Books) gives children and adults alike a chance to meet a ravenous monster with an appetite for everyones favorite socks.

This is Angi's second childrens book as she takes a break from authoring fifteen consecutive feng shui titles for four publishers. A Spanish-language version is planned for release in spring 2006.

Angi is a lifelong educator who created a bonus "Teaching Moments" (Pre-School to Adult) for Parents and Educators tool to help time-strapped adults use the book as a teaching tool, and which is downloadable free from www.pacificheritagebooks.com. Her first book for young people, "Night of the Red Moon", was nominated by the California Library Association for the John and Patricia Beatty Award for childrens literature that showcases California history and culture.

Angi has already completed the manuscript for her next project "REGGIE the L.A. Gator", based on the true story of a pet alligator that was abandoned in a park lake last summer a few miles from her home. Still eluding capture, the reptile is hibernating during the winter while Wong illustrates her book.

Angi is a two-time cancer survivor and a popular speaker on feng shui, stress relief and liberating parents with her Golden Rule for Family Harmony: Dont co-mingle your familys laundry; teach your children to do their own.
