That's right for the kids at Camp Ovation, traditional camp activities are not high on the agenda. These talented kids crave nothing more than performing on stage and screen. Camp Ovation serves as a refuge for the young, aspiring performers - who are all misfits in their own unique ways.
Making his directorial debut, Todd Graff filmed CAMP at Stagedoor Manor in upstate New York - the site of the real summer theater camp he attended. His cast and crew lived and breathed "camp" even when the cameras were not rolling. They slept in the bunks, ate in the cafeteria - ahh yes the luxuries of a low budget film.
